dsp Computersysteme Vertriebs GmbH offers its customers custom ERP systems for managing complex business processes. The modular structure of their ERP solution allows for a high degree of flexibility. For example, processes can be used in areas such as item management & purchasing, customer management & sales, production, warehouse & logistics, interface management, and many others. dsp places a high value on the intuitive handling of its ERP solutions for users.
After our in-house .NET MAUI workshop, the dsp team approached us to support them in extending their own dsp ERP system with a warehouse connection as part of our Expert as a Service approach. For us, this was a great opportunity to provide targeted support where bottlenecks exist, through knowledge transfer or development services, without disrupting our own projects.
For dsp, we were able to lay the foundation for a .NET MAUI app that will be further developed by dsp's own team. This included connecting Werock handheld scanners on an Android basis and connecting to ERP interfaces, while dsp handled UI/UX design and requirements management.
dsp now also has a connection via an app that speeds up and simplifies the movement of goods in the warehouse. The app connects to the dsp ERP and transmits the current storage status. With a Werock handheld scanner, the item is recorded and the storage location is determined via a barcode. The system now knows where which goods are located.
